The Curse Itself

The curse is a simple one, one granted after having an attitude due to a particularly irritating encounter with a witch. He now housed a canine mindset, one that would battle with his human disposition constantly, impeding day-to-day life in ways that rivaled the difficulty and frustration of having to hide new (and humiliating) appendages as they developed.

There were no ups and downs, no periods of reprieve; this was a new constant in his life that he'd need to learn to deal with.

The Catch:

The angrier he gets, the more traits he displays. Teeth, claws, patches of fur, and behavioral changes are all on the list to pop up as he experiences the emotion. These changes do not revert and are permanent. If he gets too pissed, his body shifts into that of a dog's. Not even a badass dog, by his standards. He just... shrinks into this puffball anklebiter. Not too different from his human form, to be fair.

Physical Effects:

Digits: Egbert needs to hide ears and tail. These features are things one may normally use magic to hide, but since he is incapable of it, he has to resort to makeshift means such as hats and jackets tied about his waist.

Sensory: His senses of smell and hearing have become incredibly sensitive, which is as much a boon as it is a curse. For the time being, he finds it difficult to deal with the newfound sensitivity, but it is likely to become useful the more he gets used to everything.

Psychological Effects:

Canine mindset: Egbert is going to be instinctively acting on a lot of interesting and ridiculous urges, ranging from begging for food to chasing cars to, yes, a certain doglike way of getting to know people. (Gross.)

Behavioral changes: He's likely to form bonds and relationships quickly and easily, or be quick to make judgments on another based on those he's bonded with and their reactions to the other party.

Can The Curse Be Reversed?

The short answer is yes.

However, it is not likely to happen. Lou was given three months since the day the curse was implemented to break it, and the means to do so was both Disney-level and incredibly unconventional. Being so aggressively in the closet, finding his 'true love' and acting on those feelings in a not-safe-for-work manner was next to impossible. Not to mention, he was just aggressive in general, especially now. He is purposefully off-putting out of fear of being noticed as something not quite normal anymore, and he was afraid of what that might mean if the wrong person found out.

Three months is not a lot of time to fall for someone. The method of reversing this was obviously rigged from the start so that he may fail, if one asked his opinion on it.
